Is there an Apple Watch app, widgets and Siri support?

Short answer

Yes on iPhone and iPad: an Apple Watch companion for what is playing, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Siri shortcuts for the actions you repeat — including starting the sleep timer. Playback is also controlled from the Lock Screen and Control Centre.

The Watch companion shows what is playing and gives you transport controls on your wrist, which is the point of it on a run or in a kitchen.

Widgets put the current track and quick actions on the Home Screen and Lock Screen, and the Now Playing entry — artwork, title, scrub bar — is populated by FoxDL itself, so it looks right even for a file the system has never seen.

Siri shortcuts cover repeated actions such as resuming what you were listening to or setting a sleep timer, and they can be added to the Shortcuts app like any other.

Car Mode is an in-app screen with oversized controls for when the phone sits on a dashboard mount. It is not CarPlay.
