Does FoxDL support Picture in Picture and background playback?
Yes. Picture in Picture keeps video playing in a floating window while you use other apps, and audio keeps playing when the screen locks. Background audio is free for everyone; Picture in Picture is part of FoxDL Pro on every platform.

Background listening is the default behaviour for audio: lock the phone, and the track carries on with full controls on the Lock Screen, on Apple Watch and in Home Screen widgets. A sleep timer stops it after the interval you set.
Picture in Picture shrinks a video into a floating window that stays on screen when you leave the app, so a lecture or a match keeps running while you answer a message. On the Mac it becomes a floating window you can park in a corner of the screen.
The Now Playing entry — artwork, title, scrub bar — is driven by FoxDL itself, which is why the artwork is right even for a file the system knows nothing about.
