Nothing ever jumps in front of you.
There are no full-screen ads that appear out of nowhere — that ad unit does not exist in the app, and none may be added. In the free version ads sit in place on the page. The short clip you watch to go past a free allowance is always one you start yourself.

Why the two free columns differ: the Mac app ships no advertising at all, so there is no short break to earn an allowance with — free use there is metered daily or by a fixed count instead. Pro is identical on every platform, and one subscription covers all of them. An iPhone or iPad app running on an Apple silicon Mac follows the Mac column.

- FoxDL Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, offered weekly, monthly and yearly. The current price and price per period are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Subscriptions can be managed, and auto-renew turned off, in your Apple Account settings after purchase.

How do I play MKV files on iPhone, iPad or Mac?
Open the MKV in FoxDL and it plays. FoxDL decodes MKV itself instead of handing the file to the system player, so there is no conversion step and no waiting — and the subtitle and audio tracks inside the file stay selectable while it plays.

Yes. When FoxDL leaves the screen, transfers hand over to a system background session and carry on — through switching apps, locking the phone, or the app being closed. Finished files land in your library and a notification tells you they arrived.

Open Sources, choose to add a playlist, and paste the M3U or M3U8 URL your provider gave you — or pick an .m3u file from Files or Finder. FoxDL parses it once, stores the channels locally, and the list is ready to browse and search.

Move files into the vault and they are encrypted with ChaCha20-Poly1305 using a key generated on your device that never leaves it. They disappear from your library, from search and from the Files app, and no decrypted copy is ever written to disk — the vault has its own passcode, separate from the app lock.
