What can the file manager actually do?
Create folders, rename, move, multi-select, compress and delete — plus open PDFs, Office documents and photos in place, and pull the audio out of a video. Favorites, playlists and recently played sit on top, and they survive renaming or moving the underlying file.

FoxDL keeps real files in real folders. Nothing is imported into an opaque database: your Documents folder is visible in the Files app on iPhone and iPad and in Finder on the Mac, and you can take everything out again whenever you like.
Operations
- Folders — create, rename, move, nest as deep as you like.
- Multi-select on iPad and Mac, with ⌘-click and Select All on the Mac.
- Compress a file or a selection into a ZIP, and open archives you receive.
- Convert a video into an audio file, with no round trip through another app.
- Open in place — PDFs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text and images, without leaving the app.
Library rows are tracked by file identity rather than by path. That is the reason renaming a film or moving it into another folder does not empty a playlist or lose a favorite — the thing that would quietly ruin a large library over a year of tidying.
