Can I use FoxDL as a podcast app?
Yes. Search the Podcast Index directory, subscribe, and new episodes appear on their own. Episodes can be kept offline for a flight, and playback speed, the sleep timer and the equalizer are shared with the rest of the player.

Podcast search and feed data come from Podcast Index, a public directory. FoxDL hosts no episodes: each one plays from the publisher’s own address, and all rights stay with them.
Because podcasts sit in the same library as everything else, an episode you keep offline behaves like any other audio file — it can go into a playlist next to your own recordings, it resumes where you stopped, and it is controlled from the Lock Screen, Apple Watch and widgets.
The podcast equalizer preset is worth trying on spoken word: it lifts voices out of a flat mix without making music sound thin.
