Why does my IPTV channel buffer or fail to open?
Almost always the provider, not the app. Test the same channel in another player on the same network: if it fails there too, the stream is dead, the account has expired, or you have used up the simultaneous connections the panel allows. Closing other playing devices usually fixes it.

Work through these in order
- Connection quota. Most panels allow one to three simultaneous connections. A phone playing at home, a TV left on and a download running all count. Close the others and try again.
- Account status. An expired or suspended account often fails per-channel rather than with a clean error.
- The channel itself. Provider lists carry dead entries; try a neighbouring channel from the same group.
- Your network. A live stream needs steady throughput, not peak speed. Wi-Fi at the edge of range buffers where a speed test still looks fine.
FoxDL keeps a downloaded IPTV file to one connection precisely so that downloading does not eat the connection you are watching on. If a channel plays but stutters on the Mac while it is fine on the phone, check whether a download is running at the same time.
If the same stream plays elsewhere but not in FoxDL, that is worth an email — include the provider type (M3U or Xtream), never your username and password.
