Does FoxDL show the EPG guide and catch-up TV?

Short answer

Yes, when your provider supplies them. The EPG shows what is on now and next per channel, and catch-up lets you go back to a programme that has already aired. Both come from the provider — FoxDL displays what the account or playlist offers.

The programme guide is read from your source: an XMLTV feed attached to an M3U list, or the guide an Xtream panel exposes. Where a provider publishes nothing, no client can invent it — an empty guide is a provider issue, not an app issue.

Catch-up works the same way. If the panel records a channel and offers an archive window, past programmes appear alongside the live one and play like any other stream.

The guide is stored locally after each refresh, so scrolling through it is instant and works even when the panel is slow.

The long version M3U, Xtream Codes, EPG: what the words mean and which one you have M3U or Xtream, what an EPG needs to work, what causes buffering, and who can fix it.
