How many downloads can I make in the free version?
On iPhone and iPad the free version starts with 3 download passes and tops up by 3 whenever you choose to watch a short rewarded video. On the Mac, where there is no advertising at all, you get 5 downloads a day. FoxDL Pro removes the limit on every platform.

The free tier is the whole app with a meter on a few actions, not a demo. Downloads are the action people hit first, so the numbers are worth stating plainly.
| iPhone & iPad | Mac | Pro | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single downloads | 3 passes, +3 per short break | 5 a day | Unlimited |
| Batch / whole season | One short break per batch | Pro only | Always instant |
| Video → audio conversion | 2 passes, +2 per break | 1 a day | Unlimited |
| Connections per file | Standard | Standard | More connections, bigger chunks |
The "short break" is a rewarded video you start yourself, and it is the only advertising that ever appears full-screen — because you tapped it. Nothing interrupts playback, and there are no interstitials anywhere in the app.
The Mac build ships no advertising SDK at all, which is why its allowances are daily rather than earned. An iPhone or iPad app running on an Apple silicon Mac follows the Mac rules for the same reason.
